retro alert! did you ever join the Columbia House Record Club? i believe i joined a dozen times or so. somewhere along the way it became the Columbia House Record AND TAPE Club. and then somewhere else along the way it faded into oblivion. but i think the first time around, i got 12 records for a penny. boo-ya!
ps: the book-of-the-month club (unbelievably) still exists!
